Ladies and gentlemen ... Eugen Polanski!!!

Today is a great day...We our proud to announce the signing of Eugen Polanski!!!
The 22 years old German midfielder was playing for Kleomenis Kefalas' illustrius Kalamata F.C. before the two sides agreed terms for the transfer. The manager stated his belief that Eugen will be a star player as long as he keeps working hard.Let's all hope for the best. Here is a little information about the youngster.

Polanski is a midfielder and had played for Borussia Mönchengladbach professionally since the 2004–05 season, joining the club from local Concordia Viersen in July, 1994. In his third Bundesliga appearance, against Bayer Leverkusen on November 19, 2005 (1-1), Polanski scored his first, and so far only, Bundesliga goal. Used either in central defensive midfield or on the right side midfield, the member of the German U-21 team had been representing Germany all the way through in his youth and often showed up as captain of the selections.

Vigorously turning down a hasty effort of Poland's then manager Pawel Janas to switch back nationalities in time to represent the country of his birth at the 2006 World Cup, Polanski was a key member of the German Under-21 team at the UEFA U-21 Championship 2006, scoring a magnificent long-range goal in the fixture against Serbia and Montenegro. His form during the tournament made former Champions League finalist AS Monaco enquire about his services, receiving a swift and proper rejection from Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Mass players offload

As most of my fellow managers know our team was auto selected at first...So many players were just too expensive for the team in comparison to their efficiency...I hope they do well in their future careers...One the most notable exit is the one of Fredrik Berglund...It was decided that he would be offered the same wage this season but he got a better offer from another club.So long and thanks to all of them :)

Players out:

Fredrik Berglund (29) S to Marketeers United for 34,000pounds
Richard Kingson (30) GK to AFC Linford for 500pounds
Mark Keneddy (32) MC,AML to AFC Salop for 100pounds
Clint Hill (30) DLC to Dartmoor Harriers for 9,000pounds
Danny Coid (27) WB RL released
Ryan France (28) WB R released
Paul Murphy (23) AMLC released

Our team's most promising talent "Henri Saivet "

For those who don't know this young fella , check his skills over here (he is 16 in the video)

Our team's emblem is a tribute to Thessaloniki's -and for a lot of people's hearts, Greece's as well- best football club, PAOK and of course our beloved city.Thessaloniki is the capital of Makedonia (yeah you can call it Macedonia if you want but this is wrong spelling) which is a geographical department of greece and once a great empire who ruled a great part of the world. Many lands have been taken over back then, some of which(look at our northern neighbour country F.Y.R.O.M.) tried to take credit of our history shamelessly giving their country a name that is our legacy.Makedonia's capital used to be Pella , a beautiful place deep in greece. Our emblem bears some lines of the makedonia's anthem.
