We have been away for a while but this time we couldn't help ourselves posting even though we are too busy this time around...The reason is no other than our greatest signing so far!!! We managed to sign powerfull striker ISHMAEL MILLER for 825,000 pounds (MV is 1,300,000) at 10,000 wages

Moments ago Thessaloniki FC presented their new signing Eduardo Goncalves de Oliveira (He prefers Edu :P) who has arrived at Makedonia Airport of Thessaloniki this afternoon.With the sale of Everton and Berglund the team remained with only two strikers Saivet and De Smet so it was only a matter of time until they signed another forward.With the injury of Saivet adding a lot more pressure , and with other managers overpricing their players , the signing of Edu came as the best solution.The deal price was 500,000 pounds.The player stated he was very happy to join our squad and that he is ready to make an impact in the field.

Thessaloniki F.C. @ English Champions Cup

It's not much but at least it's SOMETHING :D At last our team started showing signs
of progress.Among other competitions we joined the ECC comp where after 4 group games we managed to finish top of the group unbeatable, leaving the oustanding danish team "Aarhus FC" second , beating them with 1-0 (Saivet 5').

Next on the 16stage, we confronted Israeli team Beitar Katamonim in a tough game who ended 2-2 at full time with our team managing to catch up to our rivals twice as Ruslan Kostyshyn turned the game to a personal matter.He took the team on his shoulders and scored two beautiful goals sending the game to the extra time.After a scoreless half hour, we won the penalties with our keeper E.Lobos saving their 6th shot.

Everton and Thessaloniki F.C. part ways

Early this morning Everton met Thessaloniki F.C. board's denial to offer him a contract of 8,000pounds wage.It was decided that he was not performing good enough for that kind of money and was released.However Everton, before leaving, gave a strong response scoring the winning goal at our team's surprise win over tremendous Kalamata F.C. which happened to be his last game.So long hijo.

So the groups are announced and as expected we land on division 1b.Our team took a while to stop losing EVERY game so we ended up here.
